Mong Kok

Mong Kok (Mongkok), less often known as Argyle, is an area in the Yau Tsim Mong District on Kowloon Peninsula, Hong Kong. The district is characterized by a mixture of old and new multi-story buildings, with shops and restaurants at street level and commercial or residential units above. Major industries in Mong Kok are retail, restaurants and entertainment.

Some interesting sites are: Ladies' Street, Temple Street, Bird Garden, Fa Yuen Street, Flower Market Road, Goldfish Market, Photocopy Street and Portland Street.

Some popular shopping plazas are located in this dense area, including: Sino Centre Arcade, Ho King Shopping Centre, Grand Century Place, Langham Place, Argyle Centre.
